Where can I buy soda ash?

Where can I buy soda ash? I hope its at Micheal's or something, because I live in a small Texas town. I'm trying to tie dye shirts and I need it. Also, is baking soda the same thing?

Washing soda, and it is not the same thing as baking soda.

Baking soda is not the same thing and you can't buy it in the laundry aisle!!!!!! Michael's now sells it, but it is in small amounts.  You can buy it online here, it's not only cheaper but you get more.  Soda ash helps fix the color and makes the colors brighter.
