Question:

Where can I get MOS orders?

Fellow military folks, maybe you can help because my chain of command doesn't seem to know. I am active army (US) and need a copy of my MOS orders to receive other orders. I honestly don't remember ever receiving them, and if I did it was years ago and I don't know where they might be.

So the question is: who can I contact to get another copy of my MOS orders?

Thanks.

  1. Yikes.  I was an DA civilian that did just that, cut MOS orders (among other things).  We always told our Soldiers that they'd better hold on to their MOS orders because they do NOT keep a copy on record more than a year or so.  You should have gotten them during your AIT outprocessing.  I can't imagine a situation where they would NOT have given them to you.

That being said, I recommend you get in touch with the Department of Human Resources at your AIT location and hope for the best.  I don't think you have any chance of them cutting you new orders, but if you graduated fairly recently, they just MIGHT have a copy.  They'll resist looking for it, as it's probably in a box in some dark storage corner.

Your ERB should have your AIT on there, showing as graduated.  Otherwise, you might be SOL.

    Hope you have good luck,

  2. Have you checked your OMPF on line?

If not try calling the school house, where you did AIT at.
