  6. Hello there,

Ahh now! this is my favourite topic, and I have actually heard that some people will tell you there is no such thing as a leprechaun, well now sir, don't you believe them, for wherever there is enchantment in my beautiful country there you will find rainbows and fairy rings, and right there amongst them all, you wil, find that which you seek, Spring and Autumn are the best seasons to seek the little people, and trap them with a warm heart and a gentle spirit within yeself, and you will be granted your three wishes, and not one wish more, for you will lose all three, should you try to wish for four! so go ye carefully, through your wishes list,

I raised 11 children to aware of these little people, as was I as a child by my own beloved parents, and my children have had wonderful wishes granted to them, and none more than this one I mention here-:

One day in deepest Sleive Auchty in a valley among the bogs,

There stood a fairy village, untroubled by men nor dogs.

sunbeams shining, through trees so tall, light all around,

to light up all the populated logs, there upon the ground.

myself and my little girl, witnessed all this life, thereon,

she had to wish for what she wanted before they were gone,

and three wishes she took, and waited, for them to be granted her,

she waited, for 21 years to get her wishes, and there it was all in gold, all painted around her dishes.

So I tell you to look in the valleys of the Sleive Auchty Mountains in my beloved County Galway, I saw it for my own, very sore eyes, and bear witness to the delight in my little girls face, when she opened her wedding present from my wife and I, 42 pieces of wonderfully painted Delph, for her very own kitchen, and she refuses to use it, Bless her heart.

I do hope this eloquent little response to your question helps you sir...Good Luck now....Tony M...
