i got a call from phone # [phone] but i dont know from what city or state! could someone please help me

Caller ID #'s can be easily faked, so there is no way to be sure, but if we take the number at face value then it is coming from Mexico.  52 is the international dialing code for Mexico.

An 899 area code would put it in La Soledad, Nuevo Progreso, Reynosa Diaz, Reynosa, or Rio Bravo.
