Where did my page titles go?

Question

A while back my site was optimized in store editor and custom variables were used to automatically generate page titles & keywords for the section and item pages. Well, I’ve decided that I’d prefer to do this manually, but after removing the auto-generate custom variables, all page titles have now disappeared. (All I see is the browser name where the page title used to be).

I’ve tried overriding the head-tags & keywords variable, and I’ve even created new a page-title variable for every page, but page titles still don’t show up. Any tips?

Usually, when you cancel a service all the reletive applications are deleted.  

I don't understand why your recreated page titles don't work.  Are you sure you are using the correct application?
