Where do I find spelt?

I live in the Silicon Valley (SF Bay Area) and I am looking for spelt. I also went to whole foods and could not find it. Any suggestions?

I've seen it for sale in Lucky (the Redwood City one, to be specific) and I suppose other supermarkets would have it, too.

If not, try health food stores.

You didn't say which form you wanted, so I did a generic search, and came up with this:  http://www.nextag.com/spelt/stores-html  You can get spelt flakes, spelt whole grain or spelt flour here.

You should be able to find it online and the company will ship it to you. Good luck finding it.

For sure they have it at any good-sized natural food store. Ask the employees where it is.

You couldn't find spelt in the SF Bay area?

It's usually in the bulk food aisle.  Look for a food co-op/health food store.  I'm surprised Whole Paycheck didn't have spelt.

Also, you can look for Bob's Red Mill products at your local supermarket.
