Where do i place a barometer?

Place it some place where the temperature is stable.  Otherwise, it doesn't really matter.  Luckily for us, the air pressure doesn't vary much in and around the house--otherwise we couldn't open closed doors or they'd be flying open in our faces.

You can place it anywhere.  The pressure will not differ no matter where you put it in your house.

You can place it right next to the front or back door (a door that you use often to go outside) or a window that's open a lot. That's where I have mine and it works fine there.
