So, I was just wondering... Where do the raccoons sleep during the day, since they are nocturnal...?

Do they sleep in bushes? How are they so sneaky?

  1. they come to my house.....i cook some tofu burgers and they are so stuffed that they burrow into a little hole in the bottom of my tree and sleep........serious. they sleep in trees.

  2. good question...i actually have no idea. maybe in trees or bushes?

or maybe they burrow little dens?

  3. usually in trees, high up, in forks, in holes, also in buildings if they have to - there are racoons in manhattan.  if you are lucky, you might see one coming down from a big tree in the evening. they aren't that sneaky, but are indeed hard to see, because there arent as many of them as there are cats and squirrels for example, and most people are just not observant.
