  1. anywhere agricultural produce is sold to the general market

  2. Commercial Agriculture occurs almost everywhere.  When agriculture products are grown for sale it is commercial agriculture.  Anywhere that Agriculture is grown in a greater quantity than is necessary to feed the farmer and his family.

  3. In  USA today..agriculture is commercial. In  the early days of our country perhaps 98% of the people were farmers of sort.  What produce  they didn't use for themselves was bartered or traded to the 2% of the population for the products they couldn't make or produce themselves. It was hard labor in those days..cutting timber producing crops & livestock was all hand labor. They produced most of their own food. In today's world..the percentages are pretty much reversed..Today's ag producers are well equipped, and most specialize in certain crops or livestock production..They sell their crops & livestock..and purchase clothing, milk & eggs like the rest of the population.
