Where does state tax money go?

The state maintains State Roads, Schools, DMVs, all state agencies.  Sooo, a Parkway would be maintained federally, whereas Interstate Highways are maintained by the state.  State Colleges are funded by the state, but Armed Forces schools like The Naval Academy are funded by federal taxes.
