Where is Agerstown, Pennsylvania?

After reading 'The Catcher in the Rye', I was trying to figure out where exactly Agerstown was, but I couldn't find it. Anyone know where it would be, such as a name change or something?

I have never heard of a real "Agerstown" anywhere (I live in Pennsylvania)

There is a Hagerstown in Maryland, which is just south of Pennsylvania.

Fictional, there is a Hagerstown, MD though

It's fictional. There is a Hagerstown and, through the years there has been a supposition that it's the basis for Agerstown. As for Pencey Prep.Fictional.
