  1. Glasgow is at west coast of Scotland,400 miles north

of London. Time difference is more than 10 hours.

A fabulous place for a holiday, but the rain. If it starts, it

forgets to stop. But that should not deter a person to enjoy

the beauty of Glencoe, rain or shine.

  2. Glasgow is in Bonnie Scotland - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=UTF-8&q...

The weather is not so good most days so make sure you wrap up warm and bring an umbrella too - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/s...

I'm sure you will love Glasgow and all it has to offer and be made to feel very welcome. Hope you have a great time when you visit!

  3. as long as you dont make the usual mistake of americans which is that glasgow and scotland are "somewhere in the north of england"

it's in scotland, part of the UK which is scotland, england, northern ireland and wales, and we're the most northern part of the main part of the UK.

<edit> and the whole thing about the weather...we're actually having really good weather...although to me good is 21 degrees celsius, which is what we had for about a week about a month ago, i suppose thats not warm compared to california :p if you come in july it'll be ok tho

  4. It is in Scotland, which is the northern most part of the UK. The UK is 8 hours ahead of California.

  5. we are here in the middle of central scotland

Glasgow is AWESOME you will love it here, i expect you will find huge differences but experiences here will be wonderful, we are a very diverse city, you have the coast 45 mins to the west, edinburgh the capital, 45 mins to the east, the highlands(totally wonderful) 50 mins north, and its an hours flight to london, and glasgow itself is a fabulous place to be

the weather may be colder, we get used to it! but apart from that you will have an amazing time here

welcome to our city when you get here

  6. Glasgow is in Scotland, which is in the UK which is in Europe. It is a lot colder over here and we have very strong accents which you will probably struggle to understand. I think the time difference is about 8 hours.

  7. Must be around 8 hours
