When is he coming back? Simon Mayo is no good. I now have to tune to something else after Sir Terry Wogan!

Simon mayo has made me tune into radio one for the last fortnight,he was bad in the 80's and hasn't changed for the better.thank goodness Kenny will be back Monday,it's been half term.

He is so annoying he keeps interrupting the songs and cuts them short just so he can ramble on about something that he thinks is funny but its not

I start work at 6 with Sarah, then Terry, then Ken, and then ... with no disrespect to Jeremy, if he's not grabbed me within the first 10 minutes I put CD's on.

It does make my day feel unusual if one or more of them is off, especially if its unplanned.

Clearly soon back on the airwaves.... but Simon Mayo has been on Radio 2 a lot lately which makes me think he's getting ready to jump ship permanently from Radio 5 Live - before it moves from London to Salford next year. Word is that Mayo isn't up for relocating up north, so is probably lurking around Radio 2 waiting for one of the daytime jocks to walk or be pushed (he'll be first in line as Nicky Campbell blotted his Radio 2 copybook by gabbing to the press about being offered the Jimmy Young show before JV was brought in). If I were Ken, I'd think twice about taking too many holidays this year....

Yes, Ken has been on holiday for a couple of weeks and I have also missed him very much.  I listen to him every morning at work.

I know that one is Irish and the other Scots but I really find it quite difficult telling the difference between Wogan and Bruce.

I get fed up with Radio 2 at midday; there's too much news and chat for me and just punting around, I've found a wonderful regional station in Radio Cumbria that I play through my computer. It's great in the afternoons when they play 50/60/70's music.

Sorry about this, and no offence intended!! I know Ken has a very good fan following and is very popular, but I'm very sorry he just gets on my nerves. I personally think that he has far too long air time given him. I usually switch rad 2 off when Wogan's finished (these days), and it doesn't go back on until Jeremy Vine comes on at dinner time. I love listening rad 2 when I'm at work driving along, but Ken I cannot listen to. Each to his own eh?

It is in Western Australia.In the Hamersley Range. A little East of South of Port Samson. I think it has an attendant mountain about 4024 feet in height and know as Mount Bruce..

There are large deposits of kangaroo, wombat and other minerals in this area as yet undeveloped.

He's been having a much needed holiday. It must be hard for a man of his age to keep up with a young family AND keep developing his career.

I miss him too and I'll be glad when he comes back on Monday, it's been too quiet round here for too long!

Unfortunately The Bruce will be back on Monday with his hard to listen to harsh accent & o.t.t., banter which is really an opportunity for him to air his latent aggresion. If  his d.j.,colleagues were as incapable as he is of controlling their more brash scarcastic sides there would frequent verbal & maybe physical altercations with the listners taking third place(they currently take second place to Bruce's bloated ego). Give me the cultered accent & sophisticated wit of Simon Mayo every time.Come Monday it will be good old Sir "Tel" then radio 1.
