If that is a Yahoo group and if it was newly created, it takes a few days or up to a week to show up in a Y! Groups search.  Also, if it's an adult group, it will not show up at all -you would have to know the url for it (if you are 18 or over).  If that's a Yahoo ID of a person you are looking for,  there's no way to search for him/her other than doing an internet search.  Wish I could be of more help!
