  1. Was in the twin cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul

The Swede Hollow Cafe is still there

  2. On a little side street on the east side of St. Paul you'll still find, offset on a corner lot, a tunnel leading from the city above into a large ravine below. It was the only road in or out of a hidden valley called "Swede Hollow", where one of Minnesota's oldest and most overlooked immigrant settlements flourished for 140 years.

    Swede Hollow Cafe

    725 E 7th

    St Paul, Minnesota

    Phone: 651-776-8810

Swede Hollow Park is north from the cafe, across 7th from Metro State University.

  3. Swede Hollow is nestled between the Dayton’s Bluff and Railroad Island communities in the ravine that once carried Phalen Creek to the Mississippi River.  A neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota.
