I have a 2000 Jeep which I have been told needs a new PCM. The issue is the fuel injectors are spraying fuel. I know the gas gets to the rail, and the pressure regulator is working fine. I really needed to know where the PCM is located and whether or not a "shade tree" mechanic would be able fix? PLEASE HELP ME!

  1. if it is a grand cherokee it is on the passenger side of the firewall in the engine compartment. a used one will run you about 150 at a wrecking yard or 550 at the dealer ths is not installed

  2. Chris, Are you sure you need a PCM? The used or new PCM will need to be Flashed with your Vin and mileage. You could end up with more problems such as Air bag light on, ABS light on or Security light with a No start condition. First ,turn the key on/off on/off and on and leave on. Read the dash display for codes.EXAMP(P0441) If not sure turn key off and start again.  E-mail w/ ccodes    TW
