Where is the file i downloaded?

Question

I downloaded the most recent Adobe Flash Player but i can't find it anywhere i look. i have done a search for it but i can't find it. It gave no option of where to put it only 'save file' or 'cancel'. I thought maybe the download didn't go well so i downloaded it again but still no luck. where would it have been put?

p.s. i'm using vista

download again

note down the file name

search it in ur system using Search utility

A good tip may be to set your destination folder for downloads to "desktop" This makes it a lot easier to open the file after downloading. Setting this depends on what software you use to download with. You should be able to set a destination folder within the software.

This is good for future downloads. As for the one that went missing... Sorry. It's rather difficult if it's not in the "my documents/downloads" folder.

This are many the Problems with Vista, as i was having the same, and there was also so many problem related  download from net, Installing Softwares, Connecting USB at right slot and if u change the slot it wont except. This is due to Security Enables. So, Atlast i format Vista, and Installed XP now i am happy with everything.

Click start.....DOCUMENTS.....DOWNLOADS

Go to Download again and Read where it is putting it.

And maybe download it to a more efficient folder

I had a similar problems to yours when downloading Adobe Flash Player. But what I didn't do and what you have to do is once you have downloaded it, shut down your computer and restart it. Adobe Flash Player will not run until you restart after the installation. So go the Control Panel, go to Progams > Uninstall a Program and remove your current download. Then go back and download it again and after it has downloaded, restart your computer. Then it should work fine. Best of luck.
