Where is this Theater?

there is this theater near or in Hollywood/Los Angeles on Sunset i think. i know it is across the street from a movie place like blockbuster and a big store like Ralphs or something like that. the theater is small and decorative with an Egyptian style. i also remember there is a childrens hospital around. any help will be greatly appreciated.

I know exactly the theater you are talking about.  It's The Vista Theater on Sunset and Hillhurst (actually Sunset Drive), near the KCET studios and a couple blocks from Kaiser and Children's Hospital.  Not exactly Egyptian styling though.  And yes, right across the street is a Blockbuster and a Ralph's.

Grauman's Egyptian Theater? If it is, it's on Hollywood Blvd.

Both the Egyptian Theater and Pantages Theatre are on Hollywood Blvd.

Sounds like you are talking about the Egyptian - 6712 Hollywood Blvd. (east of Highland Ave and west of Vine St).

The inside of it is incredible - very well restored. I saw a premier of "Pursuit of Happyness" there. After the movie, Will Smith went up on stage and answered questions from the audience for about an hour. Pretty cool night!

(The Pantages is sort of a middle-of-the road theatre. It's on Hollywood Blvd. as well, just east of Vine St. - about 1 mile from where I live.)
