Where should I buy used skis?

I live in Boston and plan to go to Killington next week for a 2 day ski trip. I would like to buy a pair of used skis. Is it cheaper to buy it while I am in Boston (from some place like skimarket) or to buy it from a store near Killington?

  1. i unno a second hand store by there but try...

    ebay.com

and im serious i got my second hand guitar there cheap and in god condition just make sure you look at BOTH shipping and the bidding for price AND look at the description and make sure you know when it's gonna be delivered

  2. Try Craigslist.com

  3. why buy...rent for a 2day trip...killington has 2 demo centers mountainside where you can try out some of the newest and best equipment available anywhere. last year I tried out the entire volkl lineup at killington and fell in love with the tigershark 10ft powerswitch...no way I was gonna drop 1200bucks on a ski that I hadn't tried out first

if you're heart is set on buying alot of resorts will have a classified section on their website for people to unload last years equipment but you usually find this at resorts that have a racing program and it's usually racing skis that you'll find for sale. this is a great way to purchase a really good lightly used pair of skis but alas they will be last years race models....you generally won't find too many powder or terrain park skis on these sites.

  4. any resort, a ski chalet, a rental place, online,

killington u'd have much better luck

    Good Luck,

    a skier

  5. Ebay.
