  1. I highly recommend the hostel: "Wakeup! Sydney"

It's across the street from the sydney train station and maybe a 20 minute walk (with lots to see) to the opera house.

Prices range from $28-$98 depending on how many people you're willing to share a room with.

The place is very clean (and modern) as well secure as the elevator only allows you access to the floor you're staying on. It's a fairly large hostel but I didnt have any noise problems the 4 nights i stayed there.

I met a lot of very cool people in the basement bar. All around a fun/convenient place to stay.

    Have fun!

  2. hey!

you probably looking for something in the range of a youth hostel - in australia they're relatively safe and well looked after.

you can try these websites for info:

    http://www.travellerspoint.com/hostels-e...

    http://www.yha.com.au/

prices can range anywhere from $15-$80 a night.

but try the sites and see what you find:)

    good luck!

    :)
