Oh good luck! My VCR stopped working. Went to Walmart, they had none. Checked ebay where they have several. I ended up buying a vcr/dvd player at K-Mart for $76.00. (Walmart had none of them at the time either).

They are still available, but in limited supply.  You may be able to pick up a fairly good one at a yard sale, second-hand store (like the Salvation Army) or a pawnshop, for less than you would pay for a not-so-good one at WalMart.
