Where to go....?

Question

My husband and I are looking to disappear abroad for a fortnight, but have no idea where are the best places to go to at this time of year... we are in Wales and looking for a hot relaxing time away.... Anyone been anywhere recently that you can recommend... Thanks... x x

cyprus is great this time of year.

Latin America,  like Costa Rica, etc. Australia / New Zealand is summer right now, so that would be nice and hot but expensive!

Well, I know a couple of people have mentioned Cyprus, and yes, it is pleasantly warm in the daytime, but evenings can be pretty chilly. Also, at this time of year, its pretty quiet with many of the clubs/bars/restaurants remaining closed until April. Much of Paphos is open in the daytime, but not a lot of nighlife at the moment. Protaras closes completely from October to April, and pretty much of Agia Napa closes down in the same way too, with just a few bars and restaurants open ( most of the clubs close for the winter.)

I think you might find that the Canaries is better for you!

I live in Xylofagou, Cyprus....its around 00.30.a.m. here, and I would guess its about 7-8C at the moment!!

I am going to Paphos in 2 weeks. Temperature =17-22 C
