Where to sit at lunch?

Question

I am going in my jr year and school starts tomorow and my fear is no one I know will be one my lunch sift. I use to have friends but I had a falling out with one friend and then all theother kids just totally left me so I guess there were never real friends. My school is over crowded so I cant just sit by myself and the bathroom is always full so I cant hang out in there, they have patrol so no one is wondering the halls and I dont have a car so I walk out I wouldnt be able to go somewhere and come back in time even tho leaving in not allowed. I never eat lunch anyway. But I am super shy and dont know what to do :( any advice

p.s. I am not a geek more of a loner lol

its ohk dont be shy...try to get to luch later by walking slower in the halls, because u dont want to be the first one sitting by ur self cause every one might avoid u(thinking that u r saving the seats...so0o then when u r in line getting ur tray walk out and find a group of people and ask if u could sit with them they will most likly say yes, cause imagine someone saying no...but n e ways when u r at the table talk, ask them what they did over the summer or how they have been..rember dont be shy

I TOTALLY understand how you are feeling!!! I just made friends with anyone my class that had the same lunch period! You will have to get over your shyness if you really don't want to eat lunch alone. If the argument with your friend was over something silly then maybe you guys could be friends again!!

I am going to a new school this year

I thought about where I would sit at lunch too ...

Here are a few ideas ... Look around and if you see someone that looks like a good friend go up to them ask them where they got their outfit or if they know where a class is or something like that (even if you already know) after they answer ask if you can sit with them ... it will be a lot easier to ask that after you asked them something else

yea thats like the worst part of school, lol ill be a senior this year but i dont have a lunch. It sucks the first day, just hope that you find someone you know in your lunch period.

if there are any new kids then ask if you can sit with them.  if not ask some other people if you can sit with them. i used to be new so i was kind of going through what you were. i just chose some people who looked nice and asked if i could sit with them and they soon became my good friends. i know its not the same, but i think it might help a little bit. just find someone who looks nice or who you aren't friends or enemies with.                                                 hope that helps.

by the time lunch comes make it your mission to at leas tlk to someone nd find out who has lunch with you. ask after conv. has been started, once you have done that it shld b easy by the time your lunch comes to meet up with that person

um, find some kids that you talked with in some classes last year and sit with them, or people you like talked to and were nice to you and ask to sit with them, or just find some kids that look nice and sit with them. no one will really pay attention to where you sit

I understand what you are going through and I was the same way. I was really shy but one thing you could do if you want to make new friends is compliment people or ask them how their summer went. And if there are any other "loners" you can try hanging out with them to. You could always go to the grass or the library or even some classrooms that are open during lunch. good luck :) and i wish u went to my school so we can be friends :)

find someone in one of ur previous periods, sit near them, and start a conversation like "can u believe ms. whoever? givin us work already!" or "hey u did pretty good in algerbra. how did u get so smart?" and maybe if all goes well, u will be sittin with a group of people laughing and having a good time.

go sit in the library, if you have a car, you can sit in there as well. or just to a near by diner or coffee shop.
