Where to travel to.........?

Question

My friend got two free tickets from her job to travel anywhere. She just needs to pay for the hotel. She invited me to go but I have no idea where. to go. We want to stay for a week or so. We are both 20 and live in the LA County area. Any suggestions where to go to? Regardless of price.

If I were you I'd go to Greece because I've always wanted to go there. Most people have that one place that they're fascinated with, so I'd say find that place or have your friend find the place that she wants and go there.

go to new zealand and see the country its so nice there i would think i had a great great uncle live there and make money from selling horses to the british calvary in the 1800's i would love to see it someday before i leave this world.

Since the surge is working so well, why not fly to Baghdad to see what American Tax dollars have bought in the past 5 years. (ha ha)

Seriously, Austrailia would be the place to go, since it's South of the Equator, they are now in their Spring season.  It's very expensive to fly there, so this may be your last chance to afford to fly there.

Plenty to see there, with wild Kangaroos, and beautiful deserts and sun sets.  A trip to the outback would be wonderful.

And, they not only speak English, but also actually like Americans, one of few places left that way -- relatively free from terrorists too.
