Which of these four generations is, was, or will be the best?

Last Generation (Federer, Hewitt, Roddick, Nalbandian)

This Generation (Nadal, N. Djokovic, Murray, Gasquet)

Next Generation (Gulbis, Del Potro, Cilic, Nishikori)

Future Generation (Tomic, Harrison, D. Djokovic, Tsung-hua Yang)

I know that past generations such as the Sampras-Aggasi or Borg-Macenroe were better, but I want to know out of these four generations.

  1. its unfair to compare tennis generations , so i wont answer it

  2. this one ,of course.....they have power,game,style,passion

and if u think future generation will too have these ....they might but they will not have power ...that's so sure...............and talking about the last one.............yeah it was nice but u see i never enjoyed their game as much i do enjoy of Nadal,Djokovic,Murray,Gasquet

  3. can i make a change on the first one?

    federer, hewitt, roddick, safin

i loved when those 4 were on top

now i can't stand djokovic and roddick is not at the top of the sport like he used to be, and about the other 2 what can i say? it hasn't happend yet :)

  4. i think this generation is starting to materialize, if you look at this generation and the next generation the age group is there abouts similar so you will probably see it being combined into one in a years time or 2. This generation is only starting to take shape with murray starting to win all it needs is gasquet to stay fit and win something.

I don't think potro is good enuf to be considered as a grand slam winner but who know weirder things have happened. But My tip is Cilic, this guy outshines gulbis/potro and i expect him to be right up there with nadal/djoker/muzz/gasquet, also i think kei has potential but im abit clouded on whether he will be consistent enuf to challenge and get the winning results required at this level.

I would overall say this generation simply coz they all are so unique in their style of play/character but what they all have in common is they are young/physically getting stronger/quicker, can do unbelievable things with their racket/imagination- i feel that when especially murray/gasquet win a grand slam then this generation will get very exciting coz i think they all are capable of bein no 1 and who knows if each were playing in a different generation each of them have the ability to dominate the game like a sampras but i think once everyone reaches their potential they will share the number 1 spot and it will rotate coz their rankings points will be similar. Only if no-one gets injured.

Also each of the players in this generation can play to the same standard as federer can and that is why it is a shame fed will be competing at a high level for at least 2 years b4 time catches up with him.

In the last generation, federer was way ahead of his time and i feel probably belongs to play in this generation as he would of been consistently challenged. In the last generation, federer was clear ahead everyone, he would only lose to those you mentioned (except roddick) in very rare cases.
