  1. well I would definitely consider second hand clubs, but start off with a putter, a sand wedge, and maybe an 8 iron. this way you can lear the basics of the short game first, the go on to longer shots. This is the way I learnt, and it worked great good luck!

  2. You should consider buying used clubs.  That way you can get a complete set and top quality, but not break the bank.

  3. MP-57 Mizunos trust me spend the extra money!!!

  4. Sorry i do not live in the country that uses that currency but Callaway certified pre-owned are great clubs for all levels. I own a Nike SQ sumo, Nike SQ Sumo 3-wood, Nike Slingshoot hybrid 4 iron, Nike CCi forged irons 5-9+PW, Nike SV wedges 52, 56 ,and 60 degrees. And for a putter i have an oddesy 2-ball. All the clubs have glof pride tour velvet grips. The driver and 3-wood have graphfoly Blue shafts, the irons have ProjectX 5.5 percision shafts. The wedges have true temper Dynomite gold shafts. All the clubs were customized to my correct hight and lie angle. I feel that these clubs have helped me alot. Taylor made also carries a greta line of clubs. Of cousre you can mix up the bag and have a Taylormade driver with nike irons and cleveland wedges but my clubs that were all customized for me cost me about $2,100 (thats in American money) give or take a few hundred. but that icluded the custom fitting and the shafts and grips that do not normally come with the clubs.

  5. Have you tried american golf

they usually have demo sets that have either beign traded in or just used in the shop

    theres some great stuff

go have a look see what they got

  6. Dude, just go to your local department store and buy a set from its sporting goods section.  Since you are just beginning, brand doesn't matter.  Once you learn the basics of the game, you can choose a more reputable manufacturer.

  7. go into your local jjb store. £100 will get you a chioce of a full set for around £100.  the slazenger ones are cool and you get to see and try them

  8. Callaway X20's are my prsonal preference

  9. If you are on a budget , it is better to buy , three or four good quality clubs and sacrifice the rest until you can afford them ,
