Which Kayak would be better?

I will be kayaking in the Pocono region. I've read other people's answers on the subject, so I know the Pro's and Con's. I just need a little more convincing. I really want to get a sit on top, but I'm not sure. Also If you know where I could get a new or used Kayak in the Leigh Vally or Pocono area that would be great. Thank You All Very Much!!!

Well I am not sure if you are going to be a whitewater kayaker or a Flat water paddler. So with that for whitewater get a Dagger Pegasus or a Perception Torrent. If you are looking for flatwater sit on top go to paddling.net to check it out a suitable flatwater paddle.

Sit on tops are nice but they arent nice unless you are a warm blooded person that wont paddle in winter early spring and late fall.

We prefer the sit in, for comfort and gear. Used are fine.
