Which Washing Machine?

My horrible old washing machine has finally died. Sob, What brand and model should I go for that will LAST more than two years??

Is it worth paying extra for a "high-end" brand?

What I do; since I keep the washer outside/uncovered and they rust quickly/ is check the local free shoping paper for used ones(once about every 5 years). If your washer is indoors it should last ohhh 10 to 20 years..You save usualy 75% or so(look for someone moveing)

i knew a person who had a maytag for 30 years. they do cost more but well worth it.
