Which career is better??

Question

I have been trying to decide between there's careers maybe you can help me..

Police officer

Lawyer

Teacher (teaching in art,sociology, economics, or history)

or Social Worker

Keep in mind i live in Nova scotia and theres not many crimes here maybe one every like 7 years if that it takes like 6 months to become a police cadet, im not sure if a social worker would have much work or not i think it might be all taken up unless ppl ar retiringng and it take 4 years of school, I want to go in secondary (middle school) teaching if i become a teacher which is 6 years of school.IM not sure how many years for a lawyer. thanks everyone.

7 years to become a lawyer; 4 years undergrad and 3 years grad.

I think that you may end up having to move to another province once you get your degree, otherwise, you might just have to look for a job a little longer than most people.

I cant tell you which career is best for you, that depends on what type of person you are and what you enjoy doing.  Also, one career is not better than another; we need all those jobs you mentioned for our society to function.

Good lucK!  I would suggest going to see a school guidance counselor or even one of your teachers.  I bet they would really enjoy helping you and answering your questions.  Afterall, thats what they wanted to do with their lives - help students succeed!
