Which cat? Plz HELP?

OK My cat had 2 kittens now they are big like toddlers.My cat is very horny she always wants to get pregnant. Since she had 2 kittens my sister is going to have one and I am. My mom and dad want my cat gone so they think I can have the little baby.But I love my cat and I would feel horrible for her to go but I would like new one?

Which one is better for me?

Which one do you suggest?

You can afford to get her fixed.  Your local humane society or SPCA will do it for around $50 or if you are that bad off, they will often do it for free.  So cost is not an issue.

If you can't afford this, you can't afford a cat.

The kittens will get adopted easily since they are still babies.  Your responsibility is to the cat you already have.  It's much harder for adults to find homes.

Cats don't WANT to get pregnant, they just do!  Once they quit nursing, they will go into heat again very soon.  They can do this every two months or so, if they're not pregnant AGAIN, hence the huge overpopulation!  Have your cat spayed and keep her since she loves and knows all about you.  If your mom lets you keep the baby, have it spayed or neutered too, and you won't have the problem any more.

It's really not appropriate to "trade - in" your older cat because you would like a new one. You should take her to an animal shelter if you cannot afford to get her fixed, they offer assistance.

If you can't afford to get your cat fixed, then really it's not very appropriate for you to be owning one. With being a pet owner there comes necessary responsibility, if you cannot follow through with those responsibilities, please for the pet population and the well being of your pets, give them to a no-kill shelter.

my cat has had 2 litters of cats and is preggo again! we have taken all the kittens she has had and to the humane suciety and they offered to have my cat fixed for free on the second litter of kittenl but my mom never took her, so, yea, i am sure your local humane suciety will do it for free. just ask about it.

I am sure you could take her in to get fixed Free of charge. Here is what you do, You take your horny cat that you love to the pound, tell them she showed up in your yard and had kittens. Tell them you helped raise the kittens and you are very attached to her and want to keep her, but with the expense of cat food, you can't afford to get her fixed.

The pound will understand from your story that you are providing her a good home, they will fix her for free, and then her horniness will go down because fixing her will help balance her hormones. Keep the cat you love!!!

Actually, I got my cat spayed for $10 at a low cost spay and neuter clinic. Just google "low cost spay and neuter" and you should find one near by. Cats don't want to get pregnant, it's just their instinct. Spaying them will make them more affectionate and there will be less homeless kittens!

You do realize if you don't fix whichever cat you keep this is going to happen again, and again, and again (unless you keep a male in which case you have a different set of problems like spraying). There are animal shelters available to help people who can't afford the surgery. But like I said on your other thread, keep the momma cat since there are always people looking to adopt kittens.

You want to get rid of your pet because she's horny which is your fault because you won't have her fixed. What are you going to do with the new kitten when she comes into heat? Get rid of her too?

My serious answer is that you are an irresponsible owner and don't deserve the honor of having a cat for a pet.

think about it......once the kittens start getting older....between 5-6 months...their gonna want to start breeding (as you would say it "they would get horny".......so your gonna have to pay to get them fixed....
