I'm torn between three sticks:

Nike Bauer Vapor XXXX

Nike Buaer Supreme ONE90

Reebok 7k Sickick Gold

Or do you know of any good Sherwood or TPS sticks?

  1. Ryan, the whole point of the Vapor line is to kick lower then the Supreme...

I say that you don't need a stick along those lines at all. I use an Easton Synergy two piece- much better stick for the price. Durable, light, and high performing.

I won't go into my whole two piece rant now, but I would recommend one.

Out of those sticks though, the 7K is the one that I would go for. Light and well balanced. Can't speak for durability though, I have not used one for a long period of time, just tried it.

Sherwood is going out of business, so you should be able to snap up a bunch of theirs before too long for cheap.

  2. I currently have the One90 and the XXXX and i like them both. I would recommend the One90 because it is very durable and it kicks consistenly but i do wish it would kick lower tho. Also I found it a tad lighter and better balanced than the XXXX. One more thing it is cheaper since the One95 is getting released pretty soon.

  3. get the sickick gold i have the red one and love it. but for tps you could get a r8.

  4. I like the CCM Vector line...

  5. Several friends of mine who play in the CHL swear by the Sherwood 19 onepiece stick then again SWD sponsors the league, but it's a very good stick. If too expencive, the 9 is also good.

I personally use a twopiece stick however (Easton z-core shaft with a fibreglass blade)

  6. I miss the days when everyone used a wooden stick.
