Which jet ski should I get?

I'm 16 looking to get my first jet ski. I want something reliable (I heard some brands constantly break down) and that has decent speed. For us e in the ocean. Preferably under 8000$. Questions include...

stand up or sit down

What brand

used or new

etc

You should get a stand up! they are alot of fun, and not as boring as sitting on your A$$ all day. It will take some time to get use to but are fun once you get it down.

I have a Yamaha Super jet. great Ski, i would recommend a used one to start out on.

But if you are going to be in the ocean lot and you don't like falling down or getting wet, or a challenge i would get a sit down. for those i would get a Honda RXp. they are fast and fun.

yo dude,i think you should get a yamaha doesn't matter what type go to a yamaha dealer and choose you're style it schould be small-ish so its manuvurable and can turn sharp , you get sit and stand in 1 so you're sorted and im sure you could get for under 8000$ 1st or second..go for 1st its more reliable....

kawasaki or yamaha  plus they have warrenties even though you won't need it
