Question:

Which laptop should I buy?

I am hoping to save enough money for a laptop for Christmas. I'm undecided about which laptop to get - I don't want an Apple one, and I'm hoping to spend under £400. I'll be using it mostly for coursework, photo editing, MSN Messenger and social networking sites like Bebo, so I'll need a large memory. Any suggestions?

  1. I don't know the conversion from £ to Dollar but this laptop is awesome.

    It's only $599.

  2. I have had an acer aspire for about two years now..i have had no problems with it at all.they are cheap & very reliable.the new ones have fantastic amounts of memory & are very quick..you could certainly do a lot worse than an acer..

  3. Acer Aspire One

  5. Hi

To be honest the good laptop is not the cheap one but you should compare specifications and prices, HP is good try to get Windows vista and look for an offer to have a good antivirus for half price when buying your laptop. If you are going to use it for course work, video, audio pictures...etc. you need a good fast laptop with a good memory, enough USB ...etc.

    Good luck

  7. Hang around until Christmas, rather than deciding now...

There's lot of new laptops coming out from Asus, Dell and the like.  You wouldn't want to miss out on the flashiest new one ;-)

Also worth bearing in mind that the recession is coming, and so computer manufacturers and resellers will be looking to shift a lot of units at Christmas, so you'll be bound to get a great deal.

  8. My experience with TOSHIBA SATELLITE is excellent. Just have a look to any Toshiba laptop you can find...
