Which memory stick for camera?

my Sony cyber-shot camera doesnt have a memory stick yet. But on it says memory stick duo pro, does it have to be sony's memory stick duo pro just because the camera is sony?

Sony typically makes folks buy special Sony Pro-Duo memory sticks. Other flash memory (SD, compact flash or whatever that pretty much all other companies use) typically will not fit or work in Sony gear.

no, you could use a Kingston or any type of memory stick.
