Which one? Dirigo tandem..?

hello.

I would like to purchase a two person kayak. L.L.Bean is selling this dirgo tandem for $999.00. Old town is the company that actually makes the kayak. This would be for recreational use around my lake and in some rivers. even maybe some fishing. Is there any other kayaks that are btter than the Dirgo tandem? For a better price better fatures?

Yeah! I'm from Maine, and I will tell you that L.L. Bean (Or Old Town Canoes, however you want to look at it) has only the highest quality stuff, from clothing to canoes. On top of that, does that kayak come with Bean's lifetime warranty??? Old Town is also made in Maine, and they seem to be some of the most durable, stable canoes and kayaks on the water.

Check out Wilderness Systems Products. I have an older ride on top tandem ... Pairadise ..and love it ... Do a search on tandem kayaks ... see what else is out there.
