NWA/WCW 1988 or WCW 1997?

Even though they did really stupid and ridiculous things back then, I'd still say WCW in 1997.

Mainly in part due to the fact that it was sometimes hard to sit through those NWA matches and the fact that I wasn't born during that time.

WCW 1997 was in better in part of the Monday Night War.

Definitely WCW 1997 as that was the promotion's peak both creative wise and popularity wise.WCW were winning the Monday Night Wars and some classic matches and feuds were booked that year.NWO vs The Horsemen, Sting's new Crow gimmick and his match with Hulk Hogan at Starrcade, the debut of Bret Hart after Montreal.After hitting such a high, it's hard to believe that 98 was the start of WCW's slow decline.For me NWA / WCW 1988 hit a new low when Dusty Rhodes had his eye busted open by Animal's shoulder spike.This was despite Ted Turner's "No blood " policy and got Rhodes fired.
