you can either have one that has no defects and will not become ill when it gets older, but it doesnt quite look like what the breed should.

or

a dog with some form of disease, like some brain thing and they will be in pain and will probably have to be put to sleep when they are 4 or 5 years old, but they look like what the breed is supposed to

  1. I would take the healty dog~~

  2. that is a dumb question but i think it is sad to have a dog that is always in pain and the image of a dog donesnt bother me eg i have a staffy and it looks more like a sausage dog exept for the brindle. so  i would pik a healthy dog

  3. no defects cause the other one might be dangerous to ur health

  4. I would go with my heart and take both

  5. Did you watch that programme last night??

lol i did too, but i wud rather have the healthy one of course!

who cares if it dusnt look exactly lyk wot its supposed to :(

    xx

  6. healthy one

  7. I would, and I'm sure everyone on this page is going to pick the first one.

Almost every dog breed gets some sort of illness when they are old, whether it be blindness or heart conditions, all breeds get something. I don't mind if the dog is not to standard. I don't show dogs, I have dogs for love and company. I would be heart broken to have my dog put down at the age of 4 though

  8. Oh definately the ill one every time

    Duh?

  9. Why would any one want a sick dog?A happy, healthy one, please, don't care what it looks like!

  10. I would get the dog that doesn't look like what the breed should.  My animals are like my kids, doesn't matter what they look like.  I would not want to have to put one down at a young age because of pain.  It would break my heart.

  11. Of course the first one, health is still more important than look, isn't it?

  12. What kind of a stupid question is this?

Of course the healthy one you twit...

  13. no doubt about it i'd have the healthy 1 every time. cruel otherwise.

  14. is there a point of this question?????

  15. obviously the first one!

  16. Definately a healthy dog but if everyone looks after the healthy ones who is gonna look after the ill ones

  17. The healthy one, of course (although no dog's health can be guaranteed). But you forgot the third choice - a healthy dog who also looks like what the breed should. They really exist, believe it or not.

  18. I would pick the first one.

  19. I would take the healthy pup looks aren't everything!

  20. which question would you rather have been asked?

what is the point of this question?

    or

    are you stupid?

choose anyone. you can take your dear time if you like.

  21. I'll have the healthy one please.

  22. Why would you ask a silly question like that? No one wants a sick dog ever or likes putting them down.

    What are you thinking??

  23. Honestly, I would take both.  I want a pet for the companionship.  You might get a pet that you don't know will die in 4-5 years.  I don't see the difference if you know or not.  For me that makes me want that dog more because I want to look after it and help it.

It makes me feel sad that either of these two things would affect someone's choice in taking a dog.  The only thing that should be taken into consideration is do you have enough money for it (so maybe that would take effect here because one of the dogs is going to be ill and have vets bills), will I love it and look after it until it passes away, and can I give it the best life it deserves (food, walks, attention, love etc etc)

For all you know, the one that has no defects could get hit by a car and need lots of vets bills that way.
