Which species of bamboo grows fastest?

Which species of bamboo grows fastest?

Im not aware of any ONE fastest growing species. I DO know all of the Bambusa and Dendrocalamus genera are fast growing, but so many factors go into growth rate that i think the species takes a back seat.

The factors are soil type and drainage, amount and frequency of watering, the amount and type of fertilizer, the temperature, amount of sunlight, grove maintenance.

My biggest bamboos will grow new shoots at 4 to 6 inches a day. I have heard of faster but mine havent done that
