Which sub to use??

Ok i have 2 subs, i have a DB Audio Raptor 12" DVC Subwoofer ans a alpine 10" sub?? which would best suit my amp??

Spec below of amp:

1800W x 1 (Max)

1000W x 1 RMS [2 Ohm @14.4V (1%THD)]

500W x 1 RMS [4 Ohm @14.4V (1%THD)]

700W x 1 RMS [2 Ohm @12V (1%THD)]

350W x 1 RMS [4 Ohm @12V (1%THD)]

The V12 AccuClass-D mono

The subs spec:

DB Audio 1100W RMS 12" Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer

I think the alpine sub is a better make, but the other one has 1100rms?? which would you chose??

Personally i would reccommend anything that is not alpine.  They have great amps, and good head units, but they're subs are much to be desired.  In fact, my £40 JBL was more impressive than my £100 Alpine Type R 12".  My alpine was the first sub that has blown as well, because it always sounded like it was too quiet for such an expensive sub.

I think its worth going through some more websites and forums, like the ones I've listed. for the £150 you can get much much better, especially as your amp has no trouble kicking out the power.  Remember to look for the sensitivity level, this will seriously increase your bass.  

And lastly remember the following two rules;

Ported = SPL

Sealed = SQL

The box determines which you are heading for.
