What are you people talking about , cerwin vega was around when the only place you found kicker was at a truck stop

I like the kicker CVR in ported enclosures ,but the Vmax is a very well built driver for the money.

Kicker CVR. The kickers also come with a lifetime warranty that the sub will not blow and if it does they replace it with a new one, no questions asked

i dont know what everyone is talking about cerwin vega being a cheap brand, they are high quality subs.  there are only two subwoofer brands that sell replacement parts and reconing kits, Cerwin Vega and JL audio.  i say the cerwin vega are better, but thats probally i hate kicker and think its way overrated.

Kicker CVR for sure. Cerwin Vega  Vmax is a cheaper brand and will not hold up near the time that the Kicker CVR will.

Get Kicker CVR's they are awesome.

Okay you say you use a hifonix amp. They are another cheap brand and i would say mixing cheap and quality is not good. Good CVR's and a good Amp will sound much better than Cerwin Vega Vmax subs.

definitely the kicker cvrs, you wont find another sub thats able to handle the same amount of power for such a low price, less money more bang....cerwin watever they are not much in car audio because most of their equipment is focused towards concert audio and related media, my uncle is a mobile dj and he has 6 cw 18 inch subs with 5600 watts...cw is a great concert type brand but they dont have much impact on the car audio industry.....GO KICKER
