Which team is the Best?

Question

I got a friend who thinks that The Western Bulldogs is the greatest club ever.

I am a Brisbane Supporter and then when they bet the Lions he got up at my face.

So which AFL Team is better Brisbane or the Bulldogs.

BL- 3 Premierships in 10 years

WB- 1 Premiership in 150 years

For once i will have to agree with my troll (the ugly looking purple haired freak, that answered first) and say yep brisbane:footscray because they were both powerhouses.

**I think that the Brisbane Lions are the better team out of the two.  They've made the most of the opportunities that they've had but in fairness to the Bulldogs, in the last ten years I believe that the Lions have had the better players, which is why they've played better.**

You see Western Bulldogs have always refused to move regardless of how much bullying has come from the AFL.  The AFL have thrown them no favours whatsoever.

Brisbane Lions on the other hand had three premierships bought for them by the AFL with their $6 million they received for merging plus all the priority draft picks plus some favourable treatment.

Look the AFL will do anything to expand and be considered 'National' including con gullible fans by slipping money and favourable decisions in everywhere behind the scenes.

Ipso facto - Footscray are the better team.

At the moment Bulldogs are clearly the better team. As for the best team ever out of the two, it's still the Bulldogs :) Have a much richer history than Brisbane Lions. Whitten, Sutton, Grant, Hawkins, Templeton > Voss, Black, Lynch, Lappin, Aker.

Also Bulldogs have been in the AFL/VFL for 83 years not 150, but Bulldogs as a club were formed in 1883 (125 years) and have won 10 Premierships as a club (9 in the VFA) ;)

i dont like brisbane......we could have beaten them in 2001 grand final to be ahead of carlton on 17 premierships but never the less i think brisbane are better

It depends on what context you mean. This year, I would say the Bulldogs are better, just because the Lions beat the Dogs, doesn't mean they are better (that's like saying the Pies are better than the Cats because they beat them).

If you mean overall history, then the Lions are better. They have had a much more successful history.
