Which team should go?

Question

Which team would rather never see lace up a pair of skates again.The florida panthers or the phoenix coyotes.

Coyotes.

Pros. -Wayne gretzkey.

Cons.

-No division, conference, or stanley cups.

-There arena name sucks.

- They play in arizona.

Florida panthers.

-conference championship.

-seven straight seasons without a playoff berth.

-jerseys suck.

Based on team performance and support, I would say that Florida should go. they shouldn't be disbanded, but rather moved to a Canadian city. Phoenix is an ok team and I think, but not sure, that they have decent support from their fans. How bout moving Florida to Winnepeg? How funny! Seriously though, Winnepeg has made a serious push to get a team back, they were going to build a new area for Pittsburg if they moved there. Halifax & Hamilton both want and should be able to support a team. Halifax & Hamilton would mean no Conference juggling needed, but Winnepeg would pose a intreging situation. I would suggest moving Detroit to the East. Just my thoughts.

Flordia because i know Phoenix has less history but Florida has been around longer and you have to figure it will take a little bit for expansion teams to develop.

Florida....over the years the owners have shown no committment towards building a successful hockey club. They have continually traded away their best talent because they are unwilling to pay the contracts. If Florida would have had an owner that was actually committed to creating a successful long term hockey club, they would easily be one of the powerhouses in the league right now.

Neither. They both are doing quite well thank you. I am a Panther fan. We have plenty of revenue coming in. The team has just missed the playoffs the past three years. They have been in it until the last week of the season each time. They are building itself back to where it was. Things are fine down here. Plenty of fan support as well. I know Phoenix is an upcoming team as well. They have a good base. Now one is going to move any time soon. Just because an area doesn't get snow of you you don't like their uniforms in no reason at all. How about looking at teams with real troubles. Atlanta, The Islanders, The Leafs.

To HockeyG11rl: The Teams in the Southern states have plenty of fans and very knowledgeable ones too Don't just discriminate due to the fact we get no snowfall. We have just as much passion for the game as in other areas

Florida should go. Along with Nashville, Atlanta, North Carolina, and others more.

If the NHL has 30 teams, why not relocate those southern teams and place them in populous Canadian cities where people actually care about hockey. Like Winnipeg, Quebec City, even Regina.
