Whiplash severe pain in C7 location?

Question

I was rear ended by a semi in Feb and have suffered from pain. I am going to physical therapy and today she pressed on a spot (c7) and it hurt so bad I almost came off the table. Even after massage, electric stimulation and ultrasound my pain level is still the same and getting worse. I've also experienced recently a feeling of electric shocks going down both arms and muscle weakness in my left arm. I haven't had a MRI done yet but I'm kinda scared this could last forever. Anyone have any experience with this and any relief they had? Thanks to all who answer.

I agree with the neuroscience nurse.  Pain down both arms and motor weakness should be ruled out for more serious conditions...especially if your pain is not diminishing with PT.

Get an MRI and a neurologist ASAP!

This can be serious and permanent if you do not get properly treated!
