Whirpool Icemaker

Question

Whirlpool ed2lhaxmq10 not making ice. Found it with six cubes in the dispenser and a frozen blob in the heater. Ejector blade at 2 o'clock. Not sure if switch or modular component. Points LN read 108 volts on VOM? Red light blinks when beam is broken. Stops whe holding door and light switch. Don't think it is infrared but voltage to module doesn't vary from 108 when light beam is broken or complete. Shorted T&H but motor didn't run. Anyway of positively confirming infrared is working before I replace module? Why 108Volts???
