White Middle Part of Default layout?

Question

how do I change it from the normal white to a picture I have?

I want it to be blue with white polka dots ; here's the url I want to use

put this code into your about me section

where it says "URL OF IMAGE" put your url there

since it's a default layout, it always has the white part in the middle. to insert a picture, you have to make your own layout.
