I had no idea McCain was a P.O.W. for over 5 long yrs.And he LIVED!!!

What kind of super-human could do that?

Obama....is No match....sorry, but McCain is one h**l of a MAN!

I don't even live in the U.S.A....But I can say, many would not have made it thru the 1st yr...or 2nd...or 3rd.yrs as a P.O.W..

Because he wasn't executed by enemy forces that makes him qualified to run a country? I don't get the logic

Those are all commendable qualities for McCain to serve his country and survive all that and still be able to get elected for leader of this great nation.

These qualities alone however are not enough to earn him the right to run a country like ours. There are others that have gone through the same type of situation and are not running, so this would be unfair to other candidates.

I personally would like McCain, but not for the points you made. I would hope we can all be open minded and look beyond the party line and research the candidates past, and examine their character, and vote for the one that best represents ALL Americans and be balanced in their agendas. And also staying away from the likes of Fox news which has a habit of being hypocritical with their blasted slogan. Gives conservatives a black eye and makes them sound evil!
