Question

as a ride operator? do you get free tickets to the park? can you ride the rides anytime?

what is the work like?

i have already seen the website i am just wandering. cuz i want to work there when i am 16

I did a couple of years ago in Six Flags EMS. I got 10 free tickets after working 100 hours (I passed that mark in no time). I also got in free at any time I wanted...but still waited in line like everyone else. I could not enter through the main gate...I had to go through the employee entrance so I would have to meet up with anyone who came with me.

my daughter works there and after you work a certain number of hours worked you can get in anytime with a buddy, but you can't ride the rides when you are on the clock working

I dont personally work there...but I have tons of friends who do...as well as my cousin...and you get free parking and free enterance into the park as long as your not scheduled to work. You also do earn free tickets...if I remember correctly it is based on the amount of time that you work.  My best friends loves working there. She has worked there every year for like the last 4 years.

Yes, you get 5 comp tickets during the regular season, and 5 more for Holiday in the Park.

You can't ride the rides anytime you want while on duty.  There's nothing saying you can't ride with someone who is by themselves and wants a riding partner, but you are getting paid to work, not to ride.  Though there are 2 chances per day for the chance: once before opening during safety check, and once again for the afternoon safety check.

The work is tough, especially in the sun.  The guests are mostly rude and ungrateful, but if you've got a tough skin and learn how to deal with that and stand up to adults, it will mature you faster than anything.  But you also get bad weather days too, and many will say that's the coolest part of the job.
