Do I agree with him that a world in which we're not about to destroy each other is a noble and desirable goal?  Yes.  Do I agree, as a person who is old enough to remember living through the cold war and how afraid I was as a child that the whole world would be blown up, that we should do everything we can to eliminate both hostilities and weapons on this Earth?  Yes.  Do I agree that given human nature, that this is possible or achievable?   Not necessarily -- and I think that every president goes into office with an overdose of idealism and then begins a crash course in reality.  President Obama will be no exception.  This will only happen if he finds it prudent and possible to bring to fruition, and he will not do that if it endangers us.  

You see, this man, unlike the person we've had for the last 8 years, is not an imbecile.

Thumbs down me all you want as I know you will, if I could have thumbs downed this question, I probably would have.

Do you want what is best for your country or do you just want the side you've been brainwashed into thinking is just so wonderful, despite tons of mindboggling and horrifying evidence to the contrary,  to win?

You can say whatever you want to when you're running....talk is cheap. It's an entire different matter when you actually get in office. You also have to remember...every single person who became President.......told people what they wanted to hear in order to get into office.
