Who am I...?

This is a nice easy one! :)

I only ever played one Test match for Australia, against England at Melbourne in 1894-95, although I did also tour England in 1893.

I received a medal after I saved a boy from drowning in the Thames.

In an effort to stay warm while fielding in a tour match in 1897 at Blackpool I gathered straw and twigs and started a fire on the outfield.

In 1899 I sued my wife for divorce on the basis of her adultery with a Roman Catholic priest.

So who am I?
