  1. Canada's only 'land' border with another country is the USA along it's southern border and with Alaska.    Other countries are separated via oceans.  Next closest to the USA would be Russia across the arctic Ocean.  Also France owns two islands, St. Pierre and Michelan (sp?) that are both close to the gulf of St. Lawrence.  Major cities include Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa (the nation's capital) Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Regina etcetera.

Major landmarks (manmade) would include the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, CN Tower in Toronto, St. Lawrence Seaway, through Quebec and Ontario, The Rideau Canal, The Citadel in Halifax, Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City, Olympic Stadium, Montreal, Skydome Toronto, BC Place Vancouver, Confederation Bridge (and on and on and on)  Natural landmarks would include Stanley Park, Banff, Jasper, Rocky Mountains, the great Prairies, Great Lakes,  Peggy's Cove, Bay of Fundy etc etc. (No doubt I have missed many but please believe I meant no disrespect to any portion of this great country if I didn't mention something in your area.

  2. Major crossings between Canada and the USA include the Peace Arch (BC/Washington), Blue Water Bridge (Sarnia and Port Huron), Ambassador Bridge (Windsor-Detroit), and Peace Bridge (Buffalo-Niagara Falls).

The Arctic Ocean is North of Canada, Atlantic is east, Pacific is west (if you want Greenland, look Northeast).

The most Major Canadian cities are Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, and Ottawa.

  3. There isn't a land border, but the northernmost boundary of Canada is with Russia. The 49th parallel forms about half the US/Canada border from BC to Manitoba. From Ontario east, the border is roughly defined by the Great Lakes and other geographic features. Alaska forms the northwest boundary with BC and the Northwest Territory.

Largest cities - Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary

Landmarks -(natural): Niagara Falls, Mt. Robson, Great Slave Lake, Fraser River, Athabasca River, Athabasca oil sands, Rocky Mountains, Canadian Shield. etc etc

Landmarks - (manmade)  CN Tower, Canadian Pacific Railway, MacDonald Tunnel, Confederation Bridge, etc etc
